Creative Paintings

My artistic practice is a visual meditation on the complex layers of feminine identity, memory, and transformation. Rooted in the symbolism of nature, particularly trees, my paintings explore the deep emotional terrains of conception, trauma, resilience, and renewal. Trees appear frequently in my work—not merely as forms of nature, but as metaphors for life, rootedness, and continuity. They intertwine with the female form to represent stories of growth, loss, strength, and silent battles.

Each composition is a layered narrative where emotion and symbolism converge. Through expressive lines, fluid forms, and nuanced textures, I strive to give shape to the often-unspoken inner worlds of women—their joys, their wounds, and their capacity to regenerate. My work is informed by personal experiences, cultural archetypes, and the cyclical patterns of nature, which mirror the human journey of creation, conflict, and healing.

As an artist and educator, I see my paintings as both a form of introspection and a dialogue with the viewer—an invitation to pause, reflect, and connect with the quiet strength that lies within us all.

Another significant facet of my practice is my series of desi paintings, inspired by indigenous Indian art forms and masters like Jamini Roy. Drawing from the bold lines, earthy palettes, and stylized forms characteristic of folk and traditional aesthetics, I reinterpret these visual languages to reflect contemporary life and modern themes. These works explore the everyday—urban routines, digital dependency, gender roles, and cultural shifts—through a nostalgic yet refreshingly modern lens. By bridging the gap between the traditional and the contemporary, I aim to celebrate cultural continuity while questioning the evolving nature of identity and belonging
